Electrolysis is suitable for most healthy individuals, but some medical conditions, medications, or implanted devices (such as certain pacemakers) may require medical clearance or adjustments to your treatment plan. Pregnant clients and those with specific skin concerns are advised to consult their doctor before starting.

Areas such as the upper lip, bikini line, breasts, and some parts of the face can feel more sensitive during treatment. Sensitivity can also increase around menstruation, during times of stress, or if you are fatigued or dehydrated.

To make sessions more comfortable, it helps to arrive well‑rested and hydrated, avoid caffeine just before treatment, and keep the skin moisturised between appointments. For some clients, topical anaesthetic creams (used as directed) or slower treatment speeds can also help reduce discomfort.
